Join Us for an Exciting  Awana Adventure!  

We would love to invite you and your child to attend our AWANA program. We consider it a privilege to provide opportunities for your child’s physical, mental and spiritual growth. We want our AWANA Clubbers to realize that God loves them and that through His Son, Jesus, He provided salvation and the ability to have a relationship with Him. Learning His word and obeying Him gives them meaningful and rewarding lives. This is accomplished through Bible memorization, games, achievements and fellowship. AWANA also helps discipline clubbers to work, play and study within their own peer group.  

Every Wednesday night, AWANA meets for an hour and a half to learn God’s Word and to have a fun time in Christian fellowship. The children gather in what are called “clubs”. There they strive to earn rewards and trophies while they learn and memorize God’s Word. The children also enjoy competitive and fun-filled games during game time. Lastly, for the evening’s events, a time of devotion is held where a Bible story or practical biblical illustration encourages the children to dedicate their lives to living righteously, honorably and purely. The AWANA program is separated into three areas. 

Join us on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm (September - May). 

AWANA does cost $35 per child. This fee includes books, t-shirts, awards, snacks, and game materials for the year. Split payments, especially for families with multiple children, are an option for those that may need it. Please email office@cornerstone.place with any questions you may have.

This club ministers to the youngest group of children, ages 3 and 4, where they gather to sing songs, learn some simple Scripture truths and are encouraged to learn basic skills for their age level.

This age group is for boys and girls grades K – 2. Here trained leaders supervise the children in game time, counsel time, and handbook learning that sharpens their skills in the educational and spiritual priorities of life.

Here grades 3 – 5 meet for exciting times of challenging competitive games, learning and study of God’s Word and Scripture memorization.

AWANA is a Bible club program that exists to disciple children and promote Biblical understanding the exposure to the Word of God, and memorization of the Scriptures. It is a program used around the world, and often looks very different in application from church to church. At Cornerstone, we focus primarily on the verse memorization aspect of the AWANA club. Our night typically adheres to the following structure, along with various themed nights throughout the year:  

  • Opening Ceremony and Prayer  
  • Game Time and Book Time (rotating schedule)  
  • Bible Time  
  • Closing Ceremony and Awards

AWANA is a program that provides Books, Bibles, Awards, Shirts, as well as snacks and game materials. These items all have costs associated with them, so it does require a fee in order to make sure the program can run. The most important part of AWANA however, is the opportunity for children to interact with the Word of God, and the aligning of their hearts to it.
