Who We Are

The senior adults Ministry creates an environment that fosters fellowship and service for senior saints.  

For our senior (60+) adults, we recognize:

  1. The need for fellowship - sharing life together.
  2. Encouraging each other to finish strong in the faith.

In this way, we follow Jesus' teaching to be the light in the world, letting it "shine before others so that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven" (Matthew 5:14,16

We want to help senior adults to be ready for eternity with a right relationship with Jesus; as believers, we are forever ready, sealed by the Holy Spirit into God’s family; and we are always ready to be the light to and for others.

We fellowship in-person through fun, laughter, worship, and sharing life. Our worship includes a life lesson from God’s Word and a time of praise-n-prayer. We share life experiences and serving each other with God’s love, light, and compassion.  

Of course, no gathering is complete without food. Every week we have refreshments.

Every 4th Thursday of the month our weekly fellowship will have a catered luncheon. The full cost is $15/person.

"Every 5th Thursday (quarterly) we go offsite for a day of fun and fellowship. Details for each event are provided during our Thursday fellowship and via email. Whether you attend Thursdays or not, you are welcome to join us!" 


Each year, we get away together for an extended time of fellowship.   

  For 2025, our Senior Adult trip is an 8-day Princess Eastern Caribbean Cruise, 12/14-22/2025. Reserve directly through Princess with Ann Butler at 800-901-1172, ext 41632, providing our group name (SAM) and number (TN5). We travel to/from Port Canaveral to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, San Juan, and Grand Turks. Deposits are fully refundable through 9/15/2025. Reserve now and join us!
